Vanilla pancakes

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • Flour 250 g of flour
  • Eggs 2 eggs
  • Milk 500 ml of milk
  • Salt 1 pinch of salt
  • Vanilla 1 vanilla pod
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • Oil 2 tablespoons of oil

Instructions :

1. Preparation of the pancake batter:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt .
  2. Add the eggs and mix until you get a smooth paste.
  3. Gradually add the milk , whisking vigorously to avoid lumps.

2. Add the vanilla:

  1. Cut the vanilla pod in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with the tip of a knife.
  2. Add the vanilla seeds and sugar to the pancake batter and mix well.

3. Let the dough rest:

  1. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for about 30 minutes.

4. Cooking the pancakes:

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil to lightly grease it.
  2. Pour a small ladleful of batter into the pan and cook each pancake for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

5. Enjoy your vanilla pancakes:

  1. Serve your vanilla pancakes with icing sugar , honey , jam or Nutella for even more indulgence.
