Vanilla Bean Pancakes

Ingredients for 4 people:

200 g of flour

50 g of sugar

1 pinch of salt

2 eggs

300 ml of milk

1 teaspoon of baking powder

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 quality vanilla pod
Instructions :
1. Mix the dry ingredients:
- In a large bowl, mix the flour , sugar , salt and baking powder .
2. Prepare the vanilla:
- Split the vanilla pod in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife. Add the vanilla seeds to the bowl with the dry ingredients.
3. Mix the liquid ingredients:
- In another bowl, beat the eggs , then stir in the milk and melted butter .
4. Combine the mixtures:
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Do not overwork the batter for light pancakes.
5. Let the dough rest:
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes for fluffy and light pancakes.
6. Cooking the pancakes:
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Pour a small ladleful of batter into the pancake and cook until golden brown on each side.
